Hi I'm Judith! I'm the President and Head of External Affairs for the 34th Helix board 🐸

I am originally from Barcelona but I lived in Cologne during COVID and then in Maastricht for my bachelor and now my masters! I am 23 and I love to try new things! That attitude is what drove me to apply, and now well here I am! I also love nature and Dungeons and Dragons, so I am always ready to go on walks and hangout with friends.

I am really looking forward to contributing to Helix's long history and making the new school year memorable for all our members. If you find me in the common room, come say hi! Chances are I'll need a break from writing my thesis.

I hope to welcome many new members and get to know our existing ones soon!

Shravyaa Kamath

Hii everyone! I am Shravyaa Kamath, Secretary of the 34th board of Helix. I am originally from India, and my journey has taken me across different countries and cultures before bringing me to Maastricht. I am 19 years old and currently a first-year Regenerative Medicine and Technology (RMT) student at Maastricht University, soon to be a second-year student. I love cooking, making beaded jewellery, and learning about all things science and medicine. As Secretary, I'll be working behind the scenes to keep everything organized and make sure you stay up to date with all things Helix. Hi everyone! My name is Mara Maria, and I am the treasurer of the 34th board of Helix. I am 20 years old and from Romania. I am doing my bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences. My hobbies are travelling, baking, and hiking.

I can't wait to organise events with my Board and help you guys make some fun memories with Helix.

Sabine Ilze Vaganova

My name is Sabīne, and I am the Vice-President & Head of Internal Affairs for the 34th Board of Helix. I am 21 years old and currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences.

My favourite activity is side questing, which has helped me develop a unique set of skills and life experiences! I am enthusiastic about healthy eating and cooking, used to play the drums, and enjoy creating creative makeup looks and posters. (　-∀・)

University life can be challenging, especially when you're (partially) disconnected from your usual support system. During times like these, it is incredibly important to support one another—that's exactly why Helix exists!
As such, I hereby vow to do my utmost to ensure everyone has a pleasant time during my board year, whether through pub quizzes, tostis, or any other means necessary.

Patricia Spakovska

Hey everyone! I’m Patricia Spakovska, the Head of Education of the 34th Board of Helix. I am 20 years old and currently studying Regenerative Medicine and Technology in Maastricht.

I’m excited to help create opportunities that support both the academic and personal growth of our members. As Head of Education, I look forward to inspire, connect with students and benefit everyone in Helix.

Outside of my studies, I enjoy spending time with friends, exploring new places, travelling and making the most of student life in Maastricht. I believe that some of the best experiences come from sharing moments with great people, and I’m excited to meet both familiar and new faces throughout the year.

This year promises to be an exciting one, and I can’t wait to work together with the rest of the Board to make it memorable for all of you. Feel free to stop by the Helix room for a chat, questions, or just to say hello!
