April | 32nd Board

Wassup,

April 8th 2025

We were extremely busy with our Candidate Board (CB) this week. We reviewed some applications and made another early and rough draft of who would fill what position. We also planned our Board Integration weekend a bit and decided on a location. We spoke about the low engagement of our RMT students and how we could possibly improve this next year (or better said, how we would advise CB to go about it). We decided on 3.8 BoC points for the best presentation by all saying how many points we thought it should be worth and dividing by 5. We spoke about the gala and how it went.

I personally had planned a President’s meeting to tell the Presidents what I wanted from them for the second committee GA. I also got approached by the President of Santé for a collaborative event for INKOM.

We did a review of Family Day. Thanks to the hard work of the Committee and the volunteers, we managed to organize a pretty nice event that was well received. Thanks, Family Day Committee! We decided to create a feedback form for how we are performing as a Board and ask our members to fill it in during the GA. We spoke about a Camp and Introweek Committee.

I read over my Position Script a little bit and made small comments here and there. I have to write two whole scripts :o, but I love my double Position :D

April 23rd 2025

We had a discussion about finalizing everything for our Candidate Board, making sure to gather all the important documents in one location. The idea of an all SEP meeting was proposed and we talked about when we would be able to organize it.

I spoke to ABN and hope that the next Heads of Internal and External Affairs are able to plan something with them. I also spoke to Santé about a possible collaboration between us for INKOM, so I hope that this idea will go somewhere :)

I was in Phantasialand, so I was not present for this meeting. I did get two tasks so that was great..

Mostly emails and organizational items were discussed during this meeting according to the minutes.

That’s all folks,

Arish Pervez

President & Head of External Affairs
