May | 32nd Board

Mr. President here,
May 6th 2025
Santé reached out to us to plan a combined activity for INKOM. We decided that we would love to collaborate with them again, as we did it this year and it was nice. Sadly, due to some miscommunications between both our associations, this will not be an official INKOM event. We also discussed our Candidate Board and every piece of important information that we wanted to give them such as their Position Scripts and any pressing matters related to sponsors and education.

Since our term is ending, we were busy with collecting feedback and planning committee evaluations. Our Candidate Board is also joining our Board Meetings now, and it’s a bit chaotic but still nice. We planned the End-of-Year BBQ, so look out for that ;)
I personally made sure to talk to the new Board about ABN and what they can do to ensure ABN will stick around as a sponsor.

We spoke a bit about the Camp Committee and how they are doing. We also realized that our Introweek Committee is empty, so we asked the Promo Committee to make a quick and easy poster to promote the Committee. We planned a Board group evaluation for the 27th of May. We sadly had our Candidate Vice-President drop out and decided to not look for a different person. The new Board had already bonded so well :) and the tasks of the Vice-President were able to be distributed between the different Board Members. For convenience sake, the Secretary was appointed the title of Vice-President as well. Most of the Candidate Board had been trained or had their training scheduled.

The most pressing matter we discussed was a motion that we are planning to introduce at the GA. We discussed about how we want to word the motion and the implications that this motion will have for the Association in the future.
Ok bye,

President & Head of External Affairs

Hi everyone!
May kicked off with an amazing trip to Porto! Taking a little break was really nice before diving into a very full (and final!) phase of the board year.
One of the highlights this month has definitely been working with our candidate treasurer. We’ve had five training sessions so far, and it’s been really nice to pass on what I’ve learned and what I once found confusing and see her confidence grow with every meeting.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t join CB weekend this time (again :( ). I was sad to miss out, especially since this weekend was packed with good memories (they had a pool there!).
I’ve also been finalizing the financial year realization. It feels so weird to be reaching the end of this crazy board journey!.
Now I’m looking ahead to the Changing GA in June. I’m excited to officially hand over the role. It has been a really intense, challenging, but also very fun board year.
See you around!
With love,
Alisa
